Sr. Technology Consultant – Cloud (apps)
Job Description
A Senior Technology Consultant has comprehensive knowledge in Cloud Computing area and provides support, design, engineering, and problem solving for mid- to large scale technology projects. In addition, this professional assists with developing technology solution content for proposals.
Roles/Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
• R & D: Candidate must be an expert at presenting technology, market trend, best practices, business, and strategy related materials. Be responsible to develop cloud related solution or service offering, develop whitepaper and marketing material.
• Pre-Sales: Responsible for supporting Account & Solution Executives for Cloud solutions. Working as a trusted advisor to customers for their Cloud Computing needs.
• Technical Expert: Candidate must be able to understand, position, and explain technical topics with expert level knowledge of various software and hardware vendor offerings in Cloud Computing and Dell differentiation (both global and local vendors). He/She must have voracious appetite to learn new technologies and able to research and perform own analysis in order to provide the expertise advice to field sales and marketing.
• Training: "Raising the technical bar" for the Large Enterprise Technical Sales Teams through individual and group interactions such as Tech-Summit, FRS, ETT call, and other group forums.
• Steering Product Group and Service Development in Cloud: Candidate must possess solid organizational and long-range planning skills encompassing both technological and business aspects. Candidate must be able to leverage customer interaction in providing feedback into product group and service organization acting as a focal point for qualitative data from the Large Enterprise organization including Solution Executives, Technical Sales Rep, etc.
• Develop Cloud Ecosystem with Partners and Technical Communities: Candidate must understand Dell Software Stack and Reference Architect in Cloud Computing and Efficient Enterprise, support and enable Dell ISV Solution Partner Team to identify the local, regional, or global partners to work with, and also work closely with marketing team to participate with local forums and technical communities driving Cloud development in China.
Requirement
• Education:
 Bachelor degree or above majored in Computer Science or related field

• Consulting skill & Experience:
 8 plus years of IT system integration or IT technical consulting
 Acumen in new and innovative technology approaches
 Ability to manipulate abstract concepts and frameworks
 Ability to explain complex concepts and solutions
 Ability to probe for customer pain-points
 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
 Working experience in a team environment and the ability to multi-task producing quality deliverables

• Domain competence:

• Rich knowledge and solid experience of Enterprise Application Infrastructure, with background in Client/Server, Distributed Computing, J2EE, Web Applications, Middleware, and SOA; Large scale Web Application and parallel computing experience preferred
 Must have exceptional customer-facing sales/consulting, communication skills, a high level of industry awareness and business acumen.
 preferably to have ITIL, Managed Services, and Outsourcing experience
 preferably to have Cloud software experience in either Commercial or Open Source (e.g. Canonical, Platform, Hadoop)
 preferably to have industry experience in Internet or IDC
 preferably to have practical experience in using Public Cloud Services, either for own internal IT use, or enabling customers to implement with Public Cloud
 preferably to have experience in IT compliance and security audit
• Generic skill:
 Customer facing experience
 Ability to deal with ambiguity
 Initiative / ingenuity
 Excellent communication skills
 Proactive in problem identification and solving
 Fluent in both English and Chinese, oral and written.

Technology Consultant - Network Planning
Job Description
A Technology Consultant provides technical support for, design, engineering, programming and problem solving for technology projects. This professional participates in the design and drives the completion of project deliverables, as well as problem-solves with client and technology experts independently. In this role, the Technology Consultant is acquiring expertise in a particular technology.
Roles/Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
 Daily contact with lower to middle level client staff for information
 Data collection and participation in client meetings
 Provides training and guidance to junior personnel
 Conducts analysis and research.
 Drafts delivery products
 Supports business development and proposal efforts by assisting with the development of written technical content of proposals
 Contributes to business solution investment projects.
 Meet or exceed team managers and client’s expectations by delivering timely and high quality services and deliverables.
 Participate and contribute knowledge where needed in client technical workshops.
 Builds expertise in a specific technology domain
Requirement
• Education:
 Bachelor degree or above majored in CS or related field

• Consulting skill and experience:
 3 plus years of technology consulting work experience
 Working knowledge of related technology solutions
 Excellent verbal/written communications and interpersonal skills
 Ability to act as a leader among team members
 Ability to work in a team environment and multi-task to produce quality client deliverables

• Domain competence:
 Experience in Network design, implementation and management
 Experience in network security design, implementation and management
 Competent in networking management tools
 Good knowledge of common infrastructure software, e.g. windows server, linux server, email system, backup system, etc.
 Knowledge or experience of IaaS
 CCNP or equivalent (the ability to win the respect and trust from large enterprise customer on network consulting expertise)

• Generic skill:
 Proactive working style
 Good team cooperation and collaboration skills
 Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Access preferred)
 Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin

Sr. Consultant / Security Technical Solutions

Job Description
A Senior Consultant has comprehensive knowledge of a particular industry, domain, or functional business solution. This professional assists with developing industry, domain, or functional business solution content for proposals. A Senior Consultant will have assignments for which she/he is responsible for managing smaller projects or a component of a larger project. They will establish and maintain a working relationship with client management.

Roles/Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
• Drives delivery of business solution documentation for implementation of new business processes/procedures.
• Provides team leadership.
• Manage client relationships in complex environments.
• Prepares and leads components of presentations to clients.
• Ability to facilitate moderate complex client meetings.
• Supports business development and proposal efforts by contributing to the written functional components of proposals.
• Contributes to business solution investment projects.
• Prepares timely and quality client deliverables that meet or exceed team manager’s and client’s expectations.
• Assists in the development of a determined amount of new business and/or identifies follow on work under existing engagement.

Requirement
• Education:
 Bachelor degree or above majored in CS or related field

• Consulting skill and experience:
 Over 5 years of relevant work experience, including both consulting and general industry experience
 Analytical ability and decision-making skills
 Acumen in new and innovative technology approaches
 Ability to manipulate abstract concepts and frameworks
 Ability to create and lead in a team environment with ownership of key client deliverables
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts and solutions

• Domain competence:
 Competent in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
 Experience in enterprise security solution design
 CISSP preferred
 Financial security experience preferred

• Generic skill:
 Excellent MS Office Skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint required; Access preferred)
 Ability to communicate in both English and Mandarin
