Let's give this lady a big round of warm applause -- not for her choosing (her) heart over (his) money, but for knowing herself and being true to herself.
As a reference, the most pathetic love stories (often in junk TV shows) are those where a poor (but beautiful/smart) girl marries for money and handsomeness, then whines righteously about the lack of heart, as if she deserves everything good in the world.
