Excellent article on IBank.

One area in IBank which offered a big portion of profit (e.g. GS) in recent years is Proprietary trading (Prop trading in short). The traders use the firm's capital to bet on the market.

Another trend is IBank uses its Prop trading expertise to offer hedge fund like service to clients.
